the Korean Diaspora and Strategies of Global Network I. Goals of the Conference The main goal of this conference is to analyze and theorize from global perspectives the Korean Diasporic experience of overseas Koreans in many parts of the world. The conference has also a practical goal of collecting data and ideas for developing the global Korean network. Finally, by facilitating interaction and fellowship among scholars of overseas Koreans, the conference aims to internationalize the scope of the study of overseas Koreans. II.
