3. 대회참가 신청자격
   대상 : 재외동포영화인
   - 연출·기획·제작자, 배우 등 영화관련 종사자
   국적 : 거주국 국적 소유자 또는 해외 장기체류 한국인(영주권자 포함)

   방법 : 지원자를 대상으로 분야·지역을 고려, 선정

2002 Korean Culture Community Convention

We at the Overseas Korean Foundation, which has prompted construction of Overseas Koreans Cultural Arts network for Koreans all over the world, is holding <2002 Korean Culture Community Convention>, which began last year. The purpose is exchange of ideas for cultural arts and mutual cooperation between Koreans and ethnic Koreans from all over the world. This year, we plan to hold the 2nd from October 28 to November 1, 2002. Through this event, we will select parts of films and invite Koreans and oversea Korean filmmakers to participate in this convention. We hope that many overseas Korean filmmakers can participate in this conference which will hold various programs, such as forum, project presentation, meeting between domestic and overseas Korean film makers, etc.

Place: Art Seonjae Center (*Provisional, Sogyok-dong, Chongro-gu, Seoul),
Seoul Film Studio (Kyonggi-do, Namyang-ju)
Participants: 100
Overseas Korean artists: 30 persons
Domestic Korean artists: 70 persons

2. Main Events:
A. Forum
- Drawing up a plan to exchange Korean fillm business and Korean culture internationally and to discuss roles of overseas Korean artists
- Case presentation and discussion about international culture exchange

B. Film Project Presentation
- Genre: Movie (full-length)
- Application Qualification: Overseas Korean movie director

C. Korean Film Business Study Tour
- Visit KOFIC
- Visit Film Production Facilities
D. Friendship Event
- Opportunity to meet Korean filmmakers

3. Participation & Application Qualification
- Participants: those engaged in films, including directors, Programmer, producers, actors, etc.
- Nationality: Overseas Koreans holding citizenship of their residing country and Koreans who have stayed overseas for a long term (including those with permanent residency)

4. Selecting Participants
- After considering applicants depending on their field and location. we will select the participants.

5. Procedure for Participation and Applying
- Submit: one prescribed application for '2002 Korean Culture Community Convention(Download application).

6. Airfare (Round Trip)
- The participant is responsible for airfare.
- Overseas Koreans Foundation will be responsible for living cost during the stay in Korea.
